Atlantic City Police have reported the two women who were fatally stabbed after an attempted robbery were from Scarborough.
The 47 and 80-year-old women were stabbed on Monday morning near a Bally's hotel.
Police have not released the indentities of the victims.
44-year-old, Antoinette Pelzer of Pennsylvania, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offences. Police say the initial chrages are likely to be upgraded.
