Unionized workers at Canadian Pacific Railway are counting down to a midnight strike deadline.
The staff, organized under the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference, served 72 hour strike notice over the weekend, after failing to negotiate a new contract.
GO Transit says a strike will impact their daily operations on two of their west-end lines.
Passengers normally commuting from Hamilton, won't be able to use the Hamilton GO Centre, which is looked after by CP staff, while trains won't be able to use the entire Milton line.
That set of tracks, is owned by CP in their entirety.
Buses are set to run between Union station and Milton during any work stoppage.
