The union representing Air Canada's pilots have failed to reach a settlement with the airline after 10 days of bargaining.
Both sides say they are disappointed that they could not come to an agreement.
It will now be up to a federal arbitrator to impose a contract.
Air Canada and its pilots union will likely meet with arbitrator Doug Stanley sometime this week.
