Be careful what salads and onions you serve this long weekend.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is issuing a recall on a number of Compliments brand salads and coleslaw over a possible Listeria contamination.
The bagged salads sold at Sobeys have expiry dates between May 12 and 22.
The list includes: Garden Supreme, Simply Romaine, Harvest Romaine, American Blend, Garden Salad, and Coleslaw.
In addition, the CFIA is also recalling Gills brand Fresh Diced Red Onions over a Listeria scare.
the 198g packages have a best before date of May 17.
The onions have UPC# 6 43550 00045 0 and lot code 51RDA1A2119
