The Premier made it a part of his election campaign, and today, it was announced that GO Transit refunds, will in fact become a reality.
The refunds will give riders a reimbursement, if their train is delayed by more than 15 minutes.
According to the Liberal press release, refunds won't be given back if a delay is caused by a collision, extreme weather, a police investigation, or medical emergency.
There is no exact date or specific given for how riders will get their money back, though Presto holders will receive an automatic refund.
