Toronto Police have confirmed that there are no grounds to lay charges against Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale.
Dale had been accused of spying on Mayor Rob Ford, when he was found behind Ford's house taking pictures of a parcel of land that the mayor was looking to purchase.
According to a tweet from Dale: The police say there's no evidence I was ever looking over Mayor Ford's fence. Because I was never looking over Mayor Ford's fence.
Police will not make any comments regarding the alleged phone call made from Dale's phone, after he said it was dead, and in the hands of Ford.
