Motorists are being urged to have an alternate route planned, with two major events set to tie up streets this weekend.
On Sunday, the Toronto Marathon will shut down roads between 5am and 3pm, with some lane restrictions in the area bounded by Bayview Avenue in the east, Royal York Road in the west, Lake Shore Boulevard in the south and Finch Avenue in the north.
The list of roads involved, and a map can be found here.
Gardiner ramps will be closed or modified eastbound to Jarvis, and westbound to Sherbourne and Spadina.
DVP ramps to Bayview/Bloor & the Bayview ramp will also be closed.
Also on Sunday, the 2012 Khalsa Day parade will close roads in the northwest area of the city.
The parade enters Toronto on Hwy 27, and continues from Morning Star Drive to Humberwood Boulevard, from Humberline Drive to Finch Avenue West, eastbound on Finch to Westmore Drive and to Carrier Drive where the dispersal area is located.
There will be some road closures as the parade takes place along these roads.
