The controversy continues to swirl in the Rob Ford/Toronto Star debacle.
City Hall reporter Daniel Dale insists we was not on Ford's property but was in the parkland behind his house to take some pictures about a piece of land Ford wants to buy.
Now, the Star says Dale's cellphone, who he says was out of battery when given to the mayor, was allegedly full of battery when given to police, and shows a call made to Councillor Maria Augimari's executive assistant.
Ford was a guest on the Oakley show Thursday morning. He says he did confront the reporter but did not hit him.
He also said it's not right to have a reporter peering in your backyard and if he has to take legal action he will.
The Star is standing behind their reporter saying he was not spying or there to harass the Mayor.
