Toronto Police have laid charges in a murder investigation from late 2011.
Officers were called to a home on Marsh Road on October 17, where they found a woman in medical distress.
The victim, 30 year old Anna Karissa Grandine, was pronounced dead in hospital as a result of drowning.
On Tuesday, 25 year old Philip Grandine was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
