A debate is happening Monday on whether to make driving through the city even slower.
The city's Chief Medical Officer will table his idea to the Toronto Board of Health to lower speed limits on residential streets from 50 Km/h down to 30 km/h.
Dr. David McKeown says the move would dramatically reduce pedestrian deaths.
If the idea gets the go-ahead, it could go to city council as early as May 8th.
