Daimler AG is bidding farewell to it's bus plant in Mississauga, leaving almost 400 people without work.
The company says it will immediately stop taking orders for its Orion buses, used in city's across North America, and cease operations when current orders are cleared off the board.
The decision comes as Daimler said the transit bus business will remain depressed over the next several years.
A plant in New York State will continue operations as a parts and field service location.
