Ontario will not be heading into another election after the Liberal government's budget survived a confidence vote today.
The budget passed 52 to 37, thanks to some compromises made by the Liberals and the NDP.
The Liberals will adopt a two per cent surtax on incomes over $500,000, which was recommended by the NDP.
All Conservative MPP's voted against the budget.
