An inmate at the Calgary Remand Centre is in hospital with serious injuries. Duty Inspector Patty McCallum says they were called out to the facility just after 7pm tonight after a fight broke out between a couple of inmates. One male was taken to hospital in serious condition. There's no word on the age of the victim. It's not known if the facility is under lockdown or not.
