Another brief court apppearance this morning for the man charged in the killing of a retired Mountie working as an Alberta peace officer. Trevor Kloschinsky appeared in person in a Calgary courtroom but the case was adjourned until September 10th to allow his lawyer to get more disclosure from the crown. Kloschinsky didn't say anything and showed very little emotion in the brief appearance. Lawyer Kim Ross says he was just retained to defend the suspect. Kloschinsky is charged with first degree murder in the death of Rod Lazenby who was responding to a dog related call at the suspect's home in Priddis. Lazenby retired from the RCMP in 2006 after a 35 year career and was working for the MD of Foothills as a peace officer.
