Calgary Police had to get the fire department involved in a domestic dispute last night after a fire accelerant was found around a home in Forest Lawn.
Police were called to a home in the 1700 block of 38th St. S.E. after reports that a a woman had been assaulted and possibily soaked in gas by her common law husband.
When police arrived they found an accelerant poured inside the home. A few homes in the area were evacuated as a precaution, and the fire department was called in to neutralize the accelerant.
Police say a man in his late 40's was taken into custody without incident. No word on charges.
