The Calgary Homeless Foundation has found its new leader. Dr. John Rook has been named President and CEO. He replaces Tim Richter, who is moving on to lead the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness. Rook has held a number of positions over the last few years, including chair and President of the National Council of Welfare, co-Executive Director of the Alex Community Health Centre and he led the Salvation Army Community Services in Calgary between 2004 and 2010. He will begin his new post August 13th.
