Police in Medicine Hat have laid a charge of second-degree murder against a 34-year-old man in the death of a southern Alberta nursing student who is missing. Jerrison Herve Stopanski was originally charged with being accessory to murder after the fact, but police say that D-N-A evidence led to the elevated charge. Police have yet to find the body of 23-year-old Amy Lewis. She was last in contact with friends late in the evening on June 11th.
