A man accused in the attempted murder of two Alberta mounties back in February is now out on bail. Sawyer Clarke Robison was originally denied bail in April but applied to the courts again and his release was granted last night. Two constables were shot and wounded when they went to search the Robison family farm near the small town of Killam.
Robison's uncle, Brad Clarke, was found dead in the home and police later issued a warrant for Robison's arrest.
The 27-year-old was taken into custody peacefully three days later after his parents pleaded with him in public to turn himself in.
