An apparent case of road rage on Highway 2 has left a 39 year old Calgary trucker with facial lacerations.
Witnesses tell RCMP it started on the QE-2 near Gasoline Alley last night at about 8:30. A dark coloured  pickup travelling south forced a double-trailer transport truck off the highway , and onto the shoulder. When both had stopped the driver of the pickup approached the semi and  started punching the driver's side window. He broke through the window and and continued his attack on the victim.
The attacker then fled the scene in his truck.
Police are looking for a white man between 25 and 30 year old, about 5 foot 9 with an average build, who may be driving a dark blue or black Ford extended cab pickup truck, possibly with front end damage.

The vicitim suffered injuries to his face, and was treated and released by EMS.

Police are still trying to figure out what led up to the attack, and are asking any witnesses to call Innisfail RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
