Detectives are on their way to speak with the 22-year-old victim who was shot while walking in an alley in the 200 block of Temple Close NE at approximately 7:00 Wednesday night. He managed to drive himself to hospital where he has been upgraded from life threatening to stable condition. Sergeant Frank Farkas says the motive is not known, but they believe it was a targeted attack. Investigators have spoken to a number of witnesses placing a black S-U-V at the scene, but its not known how many people were inside.
