It didn't take long for police to lay charges in Lethbridge's first double-murder investigation ever. Cody Blue Favel, 28, is facing six charges including two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of robbery. The bodies of Marty Leon Steele, 35, and Aaron Louis Thacker, 30, were found at a northside Lethbridge park early Sunday morning. Autopsies were done in Calgary and they confirmed the two died of stab wounds. Investigators say the crime was motivated by drugs and wasn't random. They arrested Favel in a northside home Monday afternoon. Staff Sergeant Ian Sanderson says they are not looking for anyone else in the case, adding tips from the public helped locate some evidence which aided in the arrest.
