It didn't take long for the Calgary Stampeders to lock up their first pick from this month's CFL Draft. Fifth-overall selection Ameet Pall has signed with the team. The defensive lineman spent the last four seasons with Wofford College. He played in 11 games last season, recording 28 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery. Head coach and GM John Hufnagel says he's impressed with Pall's work ethic and will work hard to earn a starter's spot on the Stamps. Terms of the deal have not been released.
