For the first time since the end of April, traffic was free-flowing along Ogden Road Wednesday morning, but the relief was short lived as driver's were turned away due to a dangerous smoky haze two hours later. For more than a week firefighters have been battling a blaze at Calgary Metal Recycling on Ogden Road. A giant pile of auto-fluff, which is scrap metal auto-parts, mixed with foam and plastic has been smoldering at the facility. Deputy Fire Chief, Len McCharles says they're not expecting the road to re-open anytime soon. The Municipal Emergency Plan remains in effect and crews continue to monitor air quality.
