RCMP are now releasing new statistics based on a four-day traffic blitz on Highway 63 between Edmonton and Fort McMurray.
It resulted in 663 charges, including 552 speeding tickets and 95 hazardous violations including dangerous driving.
The roadway has come under scrutiny in recent weeks after a multi-fatal crash.
