Calgary Police are making plans to phase out their blue and white cruisers over the next five years.
The Ford Crown Victoria , traditionally used by police is no longer being produced, so police are looking at other makes and models, as well as testing out a new black and white colour scheme.
So you can expect to see a new pilot vehicle...a Dodge Charger at various community events over the next year.
To save money, police will only be replacing the blue and white cruisers as needed, so it could be two years before we see the first black and white cars in service.
