Some newly found savings from the city's new deal to use school pools may wind up saving a few other swimming spots that were set to close this summer.
Five wading pools and two outdoor pools that were set for funding cuts in the budget could now be saved thanks to $525 thousand in savings.
The list including the restoration of 311 e-mail service and funding for two daycare centres will be considered by the budget committee on Friday.
