With election signs in the rearview mirror, city bylaw officers are turning their attention to some new issues which have caught the attention of Calgarians. And it's not as easy as removing the mini-advertisements with a pressure-washer. The second issue they're seeing is businesses putting up their own signs illegally, by being either too close to the road or up over the 14-day time limit. Bruce says they have many educational tools in place so it may be time to put some more teeth into the bylaw.
