Premier Alison Redford continues to take heat for comments about Ralph Klein by supporters who say she has mischaracterized his achievements while in power.
It didn't take long for friends and family to rush to the defense of Ralph Klein.
Former Premier Peter Lougheed has suggested Klein moved the province backward.
But that's unfair in the eyes of Klein supporters as he battles dementia and can't respond to the accusations.
Lougheed has announced he's backing PC Leader Alison Redford, but she herself denies saying anything negative about the former premier.
Redford says Klein knew what needed to be done to get the "fiscal house in order" and has always been "pleased and proud" to be a part of the party he led.
