It was the final day of the NHL regular season Saturday and all 30 teams were in action including the Calgary Flames who wrapped up their disappointing season on a high note, beating the Anaheim Ducks 5-2.
Rookie Akim Aliu lead the Calgary attack with two goals.  Jay Boumeester and Anton Babchuk added singles 25 seconds apart in the final minute of the second period. Lee Stempniak also scored for Calgary. With Miikka Kiprusoff getting the final game of the season off, Henrik Karlsson finally got his first win of the season in his 9th game.
Bobby Ryan got both goals in a losing cause for Anaheim.
By winning their final two games, the Flames reach the 90-point mark for the eighth season in a row.
