The last city council meeting took place yesterday, although there are still three months left before city council officially departs. Mayor Dave Bronconnier tells QR77 News, there were a lot of successes by the current council. He mentions specifically the Ring Road as well as the 'blue box recycling program' that was introduced last year. He also notes that there no 'perfect' city councils but the fifteen members on the current council took particular pride in getting things done. The municipal election takes place Monday, October 18th. The new city council will be back at the table the third week of October.
