Class action suit filed against Brantford school
Hamilton Spectator
4/13/2012

A class action lawsuit looms over a provincially run school for the blind and deaf in Brantford.

The suit alleges as many as one thousand students were physically, sexually and psychologically abused at the school from 1957 to the present day.

Some allegations include students being slapped, kicked, punched, and forced to drink from a urinal at the W. Ross MacDonald School.

Damages being sought from the province run to 200 million dollars.

A Toronto judge is now deciding if the class action suit will be certified.
