The City of Hamilton is backing a call for a co-ordinated attack on hunger.
Council has directed the public health department to bring all the agencies
and groups in the area that battle hunger together to create a Hamilton Food Strategy.
The director of Hamilton's Roundtable for Poverty Reduction, Tom Cooper says
it's a good idea.
The Health Department will examine options and report back to council
in the fall.
