The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is helping some McMaster University researchers.
The foundation is providing nearly 1.8-million dollars in grants to support research projects and fellowships at the school.
It's part of a 9.9-million dollar province-wide commitment from the CBCF.
Some of the money will be used to study drugs that can be combined with current chemotherapy to make it more effective.
