A 56 year old Hamilton man is facing a list of charges after a series of crashesin the downtown.
It started Wednesday at about 5 pm when someone spotted a pick-up truck being driven erratically down the escarpment and called police.
The witness followed the pick up onto Charlton Avenue where it ran into the back of a DARTS van at Hughson Street.
The pick-up left that scene and then sideswiped an SUV at McNab.
The truck was eventually stopped by police at Bay and Main West.
The driver wasarrested and taken to the police station where he refused a breath test.
Mark Grainger has been charged with impaired driving, refusing to take a breathalyzer and failure to remain.
