A Hamilton man is facing child abandonment charges after police found a baby in a car seat left behind a fence in Milton.
Halton police say the 28 year old was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident which happened back on July.14th.
A distraught couple at the home told officers that another man, who had been drinking, had taken his four-month-old child in a car seat and fled on foot.
A search led investigators to a backyard where the baby was found in a car seat behind a 2 1/2-metre fence.
