The truck driver wanted in connection with a deadly crash on the QEW in Beamsville has turned himself into police.
27 year old Daljinder Singh Sandhu is charged with failing to stop at the scene of a crash causing death and eight counts of failing to stop at the scene of a crash causing bodily harm.
The Brampton man is alleged to have been driving the tractor-trailer which struck the back of a van seven days ago. The impact sent the van off the road between Bartlett Avenue and Ontario Street last Tuesday killing 11 year old Laszlo Balog.
Eight other members of the Hungarian family were injured.
Provincial Police found the truck in a Brampton repair shop last week.
