Hamilton Police have released the results of Project Crackdown.
The initiative was launched after numerous complaints about illegal drug activity in several locations within Division One.
Over the course of the two weeks team members focused their attention on a number of crack houses in the central part of the city.
In total, over $8,000 in illegal drugs were seized, 40 people were arrested and 79 drug and criminal charges were laid.
Several crack cocaine dealers and users were among those arrested.
