Ticats beer prices not the highest

Football fans are getting ready for Friday's start to the CFL season.

And many fans are looking forward to raising a beer at their home stadium.

But that kind of celebrating doesn't come cheep.

Fans at B.C. Place Stadium pay the most money for beer at 65 cents per ounce.

Calgary and Winnipeg are tied for second at 54 cents an ounce.

Tiger-Cats fans pay 9-dollars for a 16-ounce tall can this season, up 25 cents from previous years.

That translates to 53 cents an ounce.

$6.50 per 12.5 oz (355 ml)

Edmonton, Commonwealth Stadium
$6.25 per 12 oz (341 ml)

$6 per 12.5 oz (355 ml)

Winnipeg, Canad Inns Stadium
$6.50 per 12 oz (341 ml)

Hamilton, Ivor Wynne Stadium
$9 per 17 oz (473 ml)
