Rain washes away advisories and record temps
Jay McQueen
6/22/2012

Yesterday is now in the books as the warmest June 21st on record in Hamilton.

We hit 32.5 degrees yesterday afternoon at the airport -- a full one degree hotter than the old record from 1995.

About a dozen temperature records fell in the province yesterday -- including in Kitchener, Toronto, Windsor and Ottawa.

As expected, the cold front that brought us some much needed rain last night has killed off all the heat, humidex and smog advisories.

We're expecting near seasonal values right through the weekend.
