Police are trying to figure out how a man wound up with serious injuries downtown.
A 23-year-old was found lying on the ground near a parkette in the area of Wilson and Stirton early yesterday morning.
Officers believe he was assaulted.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries are said to be not-life-threatening.
Police have no suspects at this point.
