The Hamilton Public School Board is putting its school closure policy under the microscope.
Trustees unanimously voted in favour of a report last night, that will allow staff to draft changes to the accommodation review policy.
The board will have a chance to review the report in September.
Over the last year and a half, public board trustees have green lighted the closure of two elementary schools and eight high schools in an effort to cut costs.
The board has also called on the province to renovate two elementary schools in Hamilton and fund three new high schools.
