Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting just east of the downtown core.
Detectives say it's one of the two men police had been looking for following a shooting at 70 Emerald Street South.
His name has yet to be released but he's being questioned and charges are pending.
The 47-year-old man was shot just before 8:30 Friday morning has undergone surgery and his status remains unclear.
Investigators are still looking for a second man, as well as a woman who were seen leaving the area after the incident.
They should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police say the victim knew his attackers and that the incident was not random.
