Ticats release QB Tate Forcier
Rick Zamperin
6/15/2012

Tate Forcier is no longer a Hamilton Tiger-Cat.

Following his poor performance on Wednesday night against the Argos, the Ticats have released the former Michigan quarterback.

The Tiger-Cats have also released receiver Joe Collins and defensive back Marcus Walker.

Defensive lineman Maurice Forbes has been placed on the retired list.

The Cats also signed defensive back Craig Ray.

Ray played four seasons, from 2007 to 2010 at Indianapolis, where he made 277 tackles and five interceptions in 33 career games.

He returned 14 kickoffs for 289 yards and was named a two-time All-GLIAC First Team All-Star, team MVP and GLIAC Defensive Back of the Year in 2010.
