McMaster's West End Urgent Care Centre is cutting its hours.
It has been just over a year since it opened to help ease concerns that the west end of Hamilton would be left with no adult emergency services because McMaster was turned into a full children's hospital.
Starting July 1st, the urgent care facility will be open from 9am to 9pm.
That will trim the centre's hours of service by 14 hours a week.
People are being encouraged to go to hospitals for emergencies and to use the centre for less urgent medical issues.
