Habitat For Humanity Hamilton's latest project is nearing completion in the city's north end.
A crane was used on Wednesday morning to lift a pre-shingled, 12 thousand kilogram roof onto four newly built homes on the former Robert Land School playground.
Executive Director Bob McConkey says they will bring to 18, the number of homes built by Habitat in Hamilton.
Almost one thousand volunteers have been involved in the project. The roof was built at Saltfleet High School by students in the construction trades program.
