Another criminal charge has been laid against a 35 year old Hamilton police officer.
Douglas Sephton is accused of uttering threats while off-duty. The allegations relate to a domestic incident that allegedly occured last Tuesday.
Previous charges against Sephton include two counts of impaired driving and one count of threatening a man with bodily harm. The ten year member of the police service was first put on restrictive administrative duties back in the fall of 2010, following his first impaired driving arrest in Hamilton.
The second impaired charge was laid last summer in Barrie.
He remains suspended from duty and is being held for a bail hearing tomorrow.
