The arms and shoulders should hurt just thinking about it.
Local fitness expert Dave Winkle will try to set a world record this summer by hitting eight thousand golf balls into a target area in 12 hours from the driving range at Willow Valley.
He'll make the attempt on July.23rd. That's the Monday of Canadian Open week at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club.
The current 12 hour record is 7.917 shots and to break it Winkle will have to successfully execute about every five seconds. He describes accuracy and endurance as the keys.
Winkle will be raising money for Able Living, a non profit organization that provides services to adults with disabilities.
