A plate of diversity has been served up at the Hamilton Convention Centre by the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion.
The group has held its annual general meeting and its Executive Director has made a call for a yearly report card on how Hamilton is doing in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
Evelyn Myrie says the city is making inroads on the issues but says we need to walk the talk even more.
Myrie says there is still a lack of representation around decision making tables in the city and believes an annual report card would help.
The breakfast's keynote speaker -- CEO and social innovator Alan Broadbent -- says Hamilton is the envy of the world on certain inclusion issues.
