This won't affect the GO riders, but commuters who use VIA will soon have to pay for parking.
Signs have been posted at the Brantford station telling commuters they will have to pay four to six dollars a day for parking.
VIA also plans to eliminate the prepaid flexible tickets that allow commuters to hop on whatever train best suits their schedule.
It's aimed at preventing VIA from from being stuck with empty seats if commuters don’t show up.
