East Hamilton residents should get some indication of just how much air pollution is causedby the Red Hill Valley Parkway.
An air monitoring device, about the size of a fridge, will be installed by late summer to help determine the impact of airborne chemcials from cars and trucks rolling along the Parkway.
The city has approved a one year lease on the Swiss made monitoring device at a cost 69 thousand dollars.
An earlier study by an air pollution consultant said the air quality was the same as the rest of the city.
